- Volcano-Tectonic-Climate Interactions: The effects of solid Earth processes on Earth's oceans, atmosphere and climate across different timescales.
- Geofluids and Geomechanics: Rock deformation, fluid-rock interactions, seismic processes and numerical modeling.
- Energy and Sustainability: Geothermal energy, critical mineral exploration, geologic carbon sequestration and hydrogen production.
- Geophysical Characterization: Hyperspectral imaging, acoustics, LiDAR and geochemical techniques for studying Earth materials and processes.
