Teaching

I teach several graduate and undergraduate courses in the EAPS department at Purdue University.

As an educator, I view higher education as a pathway to successful careers, aiming to prepare students for both academic and non-academic professions. My courses are designed with student-centered learning, encouraging students to engage actively and take ownership of their education. All of myh course designs are based on the Self-Determination Theory to foster autonomy, competence, and relatedness. Continuous improvement is key to my teaching, with regular feedback from students guiding my strategies. Technology enhances my teaching, promoting engagement and fairness. I prioritize creating an inclusive and safe learning environment, emphasizing respect and constructive feedback. My goal is to empower students to succeed professionally.
