Our group studies how human and natural processes influence atmospheric chemistry using field observations, laboratory experiments, and chemical transport modeling. We use field-deployable mass spectrometry to measure reactive gases and evaluate three-dimensional global and one-dimensional vertical-column models, improving predictions of atmospheric composition and its effects on air quality and climate.
