Through the ENVISION program, participants are exposed to inquiry-based field investigations of local environments that they can integrate into their current curriculum.

Therefore, the program includes opportunities for professional development, provides access to a variety of environmental activities, and intitiates discussion of inquiry teaching and alternative assessments in the science classroom.
