1. indicated interest in learning and teaching about environmental concepts and issues, and 

2. documented support from their principal or superintendent indicating that the school district agrees to provide: 
a) release time for participants, 
b) support for the adoption and implementation of instructional materials ($200 per teacher/$400 per team), 
c) access to computer technology and telecommunications, and 
d) support (travel and subsistence) for presentation at HASTI state conference.
